I have been lucky enough to own the first version of this (without the 90° cable relief) and now the updated one (with the 90° cable relief) and I have a few things to say about both. The first version of these had the secret ability to be both connected via Bluetooth to your phone and be connected to whatever else via aux cable at the same time* and had a faster boot up time with the only downside being the cable on both sides would eventually bend back and forth enough with use to break and render the headset unable to work as a Bluetooth headset. The new/revised version of these headphones seems to not have carried over the secret feature the first one had and only allows you to be connected via Bluetooth or via aux cable and not at the same time it also seems to have a slight but noticeable increase in boot up time as in it takes it a few seconds longer to get through the dialogue being: "power on" 1-2 seconds go by then "battery (level)" immediately followed by "Bluetooth connected" when the first version of these (without 90° cable relief) goes through all of it without any gap in-between phrases but the upside/revision to it was the 90° cable relief so the cables last much longer than the first iteration (hopefully). Otherwise (based upon my experience with the first version only I will hopefully update this confirming that the new version lasts for just as long) the battery life on these is fenominaly good! (Like they last FOREVER on one charge!) The only true downside to both the new version and the first version of this headset is that it uses micro USB to charge.
*The secret feature that the first version has that the new/revised version doesn't allowed me to have my 3m headset to be connected to my phone via Bluetooth and be connected to my laptop/PC via aux cable at the same time which allowed me to play audio from the PC/laptop through the headphones but would automatically stop that audio when I got a notification from my phone (or if any audio from the phones side started playing) and would automatically switch back to playing the audio from the PC/laptop when the audio from my phone stopped.
