Bulletproof vest


    With the widespread application of modern high-tech methods in the military, the power of weapons is increasing, which to some extent requires higher requirements for bulletproof materials.
From the perspective of materials, bulletproof vests can be divided into three types: soft, hard, and soft hard composite. A bulletproof vest mainly consists of a jacket and a bulletproof layer. The jacket is commonly made of synthetic fiber fabric, while the bulletproof layer is mostly made of metal.


    Bulletproof vests of grade IIIA or above are hard bulletproof vests, and their main materials are composed of metal, ceramics, and other composite materials, which block the penetration of bullets with their own hardness to achieve bulletproof purposes. The disadvantage is that they are bulky.


    Bulletproof vests below grade IIIA are soft bulletproof vests, mainly composed of high-strength fibers such as Kevlar, as well as other fiber materials, which block the penetration of bullets in their high-strength way. This bulletproof vest is suitable for wearing, lightweight and flexible, but it is relatively expensive.


    By using high-performance materials, the bulletproof vest has a soft and comfortable texture, achieving comprehensive functionality and diversified styles, and improving protective capabilities.


Bulletproof shield 


    Bulletproof shields are mostly rectangular, curved pieces with handles on the back that are easy to hold. As an extremely effective bulletproof equipment, it can be used in conjunction with bulletproof vests to achieve optimal performance. The most common bulletproof shields in China are handheld and wheeled.


    The handheld bulletproof shield is made of high-strength fiber materials such as Kevlar aramid and high-strength flame-retardant fiberglass through special pressing processes. The product is lightweight and flexible, with good comprehensive bulletproof performance and high bulletproof level.


    The wheeled bulletproof shield is made of high-quality bulletproof steel plates. The moving structure of the shield is composed of three universal wheels, which advance quickly, turn flexibly, and are more convenient to use. Commonly used for setting up checkpoints at military outposts, military defense areas, and important locations.


    With the emergence of new materials and processes, the manufacturing technology of bulletproof shields has made rapid progress, and the use of bulletproof shields in China is increasing.


Bulletproof helmet


    A bulletproof helmet is composed of a helmet shell (including the edging) and a suspension buffer system (including the hoops, buffer layer, chin strap, and connectors). The helmet shell is laminated with aramid impregnated machine woven fabric. Wearing should be comfortable and stable.


    In addition to considering bulletproof ability, the design of bulletproof helmets also needs to consider the mobility of the wearer's head. The best bulletproof helmet can withstand 3A level attacks (it can block bullets fired from a 0.44 Magnum revolver). In addition, most bulletproof helmets can be equipped with communication devices and night vision devices, which can not only reduce the impact of dizziness bullets, explosions, or gunfights on personnel's eardrums, but also help team members maintain contact with teammates or command centers in high decibel noise environments.
