Slurry pump is a kind of centrifugal pump with higher efficiency and relatively strong performance that has evolved in recent years due to the transportation of large particles.

 

Slurry pump is a kind of centrifugal pump with higher efficiency and relatively strong performance that has evolved in recent years due to the transportation of large particles. At present, it is one of the indispensable equipment in each process of coal preparation plant. In order to adapt to different working conditions, there are many kinds of driving method.


1. Direct drive:

Direct drive (DC drive) means that the slurry pump and the motor are connected to drive through couplings. There are three types of common couplings: claw couplings, pin couplings and diaphragm couplings. The direct drive is reliable in operation and low failure rate.


2. Belt Drive

Belt drive means that the slurry pump and the motor are connected to drive through belt pulley&belt. According to the relative position changes of motor and pump, there are usually four ways.

CR/RZ Drive

CL/CLZ Drive

ZV Drive

CV Drive


The choice of the slurry pump drive method is mainly determined by considering the design working conditions and the requirements of the selected speed. When pump speed and motor speed can be the same, choose more direct connections. For example, the design of ZJ Series slurry pump generally has more direct connections.


Most of the SA, SH, SM, SL series slurry pumps use belt drive, because they can adjust the speed through the size of the pulley, which can adapt to more working conditions.
