Can Stencil Eases Repositionable Stencil Spray Adhesive be used on fabric? Will it leave a residue?

Answer

It is not recommended for use on fabric. It is designed for smooth, non-porous surfaces including walls, fiberglass, metal, and plastic. Stencil Ease is sprayed onto the stencil itself but may be absorbed by fabric leaving a residue. Try Stencil Spray Adhesive by Tulip designed for fabric stenciling.

I need an adhesive to put on the back of a stencil that I'm using for an etching on a glass vase. Will this product work for that purpose?

Answer

The people at Stencil Ease say this works on any flat, smooth surface. So you would have a problem, I believe, using it on a round vase.
