Voltage

If the voltage is too low, the failure of the safety device can also cause the centrifuge to fail to start. If the voltage is too low, it may be caused by the low voltage of the power grid; insufficient capacity of the power line will not only reduce the voltage but also cause accidents.

Carbon Brush

If the motor won't start while the main power indicator light is on, you have to check the wear of the carbon brushes. If the wear of carbon brushes is more than one-third, you should replace the carbon brushes in time.

 

Fuse

When the main power indicator is off, check if the indicator fuse and indoor distribution board fuse are blown and check if the power cord is making good contact. If the fuse is blown, replace it.

 

 

 

Ventilation

If the centrifuge is installed in direct sunlight or poorly ventilated, the radiator is not effective. If the radiator cover is covered with dust, it will also affect the heat dissipation and eventually cause the centrifuge to work less efficiently.

 

Shaking

The causes of violent shaking of the centrifuge may be: unbalanced weight and asymmetric placement of the centrifuge tubes in the vertical centrifuge; foreign objects in the rotor holes, which make the load unbalanced. You need to recheck the internal components and place them correctly.

Coil

The rotor may cause rupture of the centrifugal tube and leakage of the sample during use due to metal fatigue, overload, chemical corrosion, improper selection and temperature control. If the rotor coil is short-circuited, please check it with a multimeter and re-install the coil.

Oil pump

Check the vacuum pump gauge and oil pressure indication value. If the oil pressure is too high, the main engine cannot start and must check whether the oil channel is blocked, especially whether the throttle hole is clear.

 

Installation position

Installation of the centrifuge should be based on the performance of the centrifuge to choose a cooperative location. For general low-speed centrifuges, can be placed on a stable and solid countertop. If it is a large capacity centrifuge, high-speed centrifuge, please put it on the ground rather than on a table in mid-air, be careful of the machine collapse due to vibration.
