Used to pull scag hardshell bagger blower bearings. Worked great.
Both the first product shipped and second one to replace it were the incorrect color and labeled blue. (See photo) contacted company via email. Summerizing: They said they were sorry, but assured me the products are the same. Only issue is I wanted blue. You are offering blue for purchase... see the issue? If I wanted red I could have ordered that from anyone else online.
Now let's talk product. It does the job. They both worked as intended, but they where soft enough to get marred up against one and a half bearings. The Bearing Separators don't appear to be the same quality of chrome vanadium steel I have bought in the past with other tools. I'm skeptical that that those damaged areas wont rust contrary to the marketing saying "... Galvanized for Rust Proof." Take that for what it is. I've used these before and most of the same products that look like this one are all the same general quality for this part in particular.
Every other part of this kit seems good quality. There is only one other gripe. Some other pullers come with ejector fittings. They are used under the main screw (ejector). You can see them in my photos because I used them from another puller. Unless you like damaging your ejector or the saft of what your working on then this is essential. Word to the wise, use a socket if you have to, but don't run this on a bare shaft when it does not have a center dimple.
Wish I could have given this a better star rating. Sending the wrong product twice and a weak excuse/ apology gets you two stars. Otherwise, consider my review a 3-4 star for product.
