We recommend checking the battery / power connector on the controller before purchasing an ebike battery. But sometimes these connectors may seem pretty confusing especially if you are not familiar with them.

Anderson Connectors
This old style connector has genderless plugs which means you do not have to worry about matching the male and female parts and we can still see them in many ebike battery packs.
XT60 Connectors
This is one of the most popular connectors in the market that can handle high currents. Mostly used on both discharge and charge leads.
XT90 Connector
It’s a larger version of the XT60 that has 4.5 mm bullet pins designed to handle higher currents.
Deans Plugs
This connector is seen mostly on DIY battery packs. The connector can handle high current and has a small size.
XLR Connectors
These connectors are mostly seen in pre-built ebikes.
